Hokage4354 and I have finally formulated a good idea for a new game. We decided to do a pixel-art- city builder game, with multiple tiers, different building types and lots of customization. This is all fine and dandy, but the real awesomeness is that we're soon going to open the art for submissions from the public! Super cool, right?

One of my favourite sites of all time, Instructables, has received a post on how to gro square watermelons. When I heard about these in japan I thought it was a joke, or a rumour, but I never thought it could actually be done (like squash!). A really cool article, and I hope to do it when the sun comes out...

Uganda is Cracked

Uganda is going thorugh some troubling times. They are trying to pass a bill that would would make homosexuality illegal, punishable by death. Although the actual matter at hand is overseen in this video, because everyone is laughing at this pastor/doctor for his explanation of what homosexuals do 'in the privacy of their bedroom'. I am not going to express all the details here, but he does compare licking poo to eating ice cream. I'm guessing he found out most of this information because of the internet. Thanks internet.

An author on Cracked.com made this a recent post about The 5 Reasons it's Still not Cool to Admit you're a Gamer. But I have to be honest- it makes a lot of sense. Not only do they mention the preverse nature of gamers, but they show us proof that we're just assholes anyway.

Oh Coppercab!

New progress on my game "Castle Siege", arrows and melee perfectly working! I am super excited to get this project through, but I have made little progress on my other one. Hopefully we can get a fully functional demo done is a few weeks, but for now you can play one here! Use the left mouse button to fire your arrows/use melee attack, the 'S' key to switch view when next to the door, and AWD for ground movement. Refresh if you want more (6.6)

I recently made a horrific discovery.

coppercab of Youtube has recently deleted his viral video, "GINGERS DO HAVE SOULS!!!". Many of you have probably seen this video, and responded with pity/laughter/confusion. I'm not sure why on earth he would remove this video, because that was the reason he has over 83,00 subscribers, and I bet you my first child that those subscribers will be leaving faster than Tiger Wood's sponsors. I'll also include placeboing's cool remix.

Tee Shirts and Lasagna

TeeFury just came out with a new T-shirt, which is a cross between pyramids a Zelda, of course. Totally loving it, I just had to share it, but if you want to buy it, you better hurry up, because they only last for 24 Hours before they're gone forever =] The reason I noticed this is because my brother was talking about how Mythbusters proved 'Pyramid Power' on apples and milk.

placeboing created this awesome autotune of a viral video. The original is long gone but there are many copies of it, so heres one of them. Honestly, who doesn't want to watch a kid with a half-bowl-haircut mispronounce a word like 'lasagna' into a suggestive theme? But really, is it the kids fault that his Dad hasn't taught him what a vagina is?

Two New Projects

Well, I have started a new project with Hokage4354, and another with c0rupt3d_l0l. I'm super excited to get both of these underway and published soon. I will be doing the coding for both, them being excellent artists. I have put a small preview of the Unnamed Castle Siege game above. Hopefully I can balance both projects, along with my provincial exams =]


Record Tripping is a game a friend of mine showed me, using only the mouse wheel. It's truly an amazing flash game, showing the world (once again) that flash games have the potential to create visually stunning games. I highly recommend audio as the game tweaks with it a lot.
